Vision for Development of Technological Demonstrator: Next Generation Capsule Endoscopy

Given is leading the development of the next generation capsule endoscopy technological demonstrator of the Bio-Medical Photonic Consortium.

Given will lead the system engineering and integration of the capsule demonstrator working closely with other members of the consortium, both companies and research institutes/universities, in areas enabling virtual biopsy: identification of novel biomarkers for GI pathologies, tagging and targeting technologies, image processing algorithms, micro optics mechanisms, innovative illumination sources and more.

Vision for Development of Technological Demonstrator: Next Generation Endoscope

Medigus is leading the development of the next generation endoscope technological demonstrator of the Bio-Medical Photonic Consortium. 

Defining and integrating all the components of the demonstrator is a highly complicated and fascinating task. Medigus will lead the system engineering of the endoscope demonstrator working closely with all members of the consortium, both companies and research institutes/universities, in the following areas: micro mechanics, implementation of real-time image processing algorithms, micro optics mechanisms, innovative illumination sources and more.

Medigus looks forward to facing the technological challenges associated with developing the endoscope demonstrator and hopes that the joint work with all members of the Consortium will be productive.
